A Season to Remember!

I've been a Formula 1 racing enthusiast since I was 8 years old. Racing giants Mario Andretti and Gilles Villeneuve are mainly responsible for my love of going fast, which I must admit, cost me a few speeding tickets and sets of brakes and tires over the years. Since I've calmed down considerably and videogames now provide me with a perfectly safe fix for my need for speed, my wallet has benefited from a welcomed respite but I still love to watch F1...as long as it is exciting.

The 2021 season has been precisely that because of one driver: Max Verstappen.

Ever since his arrival into motorsport's most prestigious series, Verstappen's phenomenal talent has propelled him to the top of Formula 1 in just a few years, and his progression has been nothing short of spectacular. He embodies exactly what it means to be a true racing juggernaut with his superior driving skills and instincts, and his brilliant mastery of attack and defense to the limit.

I have created what I like to call a 'technical tribute' to Verstappen's fabulous 2021 F1 WDC win, for the discerning Max fan. The piece is a versatile 13 x 19 in. (33.02 x 48.26 cm) and comes in a recto AND verso parts (A & B), which can both be framed (framing not included) if you so choose and displayed together on a wall or on a shelf. Both are printed on acid-free 100-lbs high-quality fine-art paper (boy that's a lot of hyphens...) and have a textured finish for a gorgeous look. Each piece is individually numbered on both parts, with a short description of what it depicts along with its history on the verso. Key statistics from Max's dominating season complete the work on the recto.

If this sells out, I'm also considering a well-deserved tribute to Max's formidable teammate Sergio Pérez, exciting in his own right throughout the 2021 season, as he was instrumental in Max's success on several occasions and quite obviously contributed to his F1 title.

You are buying this art work directly from me, with personalized service, as I like to control every aspect of my art work, from creation to shipment. With only 100 potential clients for this project (and others to come), I want to ensure total satisfaction.

POLICIES

1. THIS IS A PRE-ORDER ITEM. There is no deposit needed, however I do ask that only serious buyers apply for pre-order, on a first come first served basis, and numbering will follow the sequence in which pre-orders are received (with the exception of no. 33, which is not for sale). Once I hit 50% of available pre-orders (50), I will inform all pre-order customers with a final price including shipping, receive payments, and then print and ship the first 50 editions (or more if applicable). After submitting your information through the form included here, you will be notified by email within 48 hours of your place (and therefore Edition number) in the queue.

2. SHIPMENT. SHIPMENT COSTS ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER. Every edition will ship in a high-quality, rigid tube of 4 inches in diameter to facilitate unrolling at arrival. The prints will "sandwich" a glassine sheet which will be housed in a polybag for best protection, which will be expertly rolled and inserted into its shipping tube. SHIPPING COSTS ACCORDING TO ADDRESS WILL BE CALCULATED AT THE TIME OF SHIPMENT, AND BE INCLUDED IN THE FINAL NOTIFICATION EMAIL FOR PAYMENT. Canada Post will be used as courier, not only because it does a fabulous job, but also to keep costs as low as possible for buyers.

3. CUSTOMS & DUTIES. Unfortunately, we live in a world of boundaries and imaginary lines enforced by law, and so customs fees are part of our transactions. Please be aware that I can't and won't diminish the value of the shipped product on any customs form, for any reason. This would represent a disservice to us both.

4. PAYMENT. I accept e-Transfer only for the moment, but I'm exploring other options as well. When the time comes, all pre-order customers will be notified by email with the final price (including respective shipping), then will have seven (7) days to proceed with payment. YOUR PRE-ORDER INFORMATION WILL NEED TO MATCH YOUR PAYMENT INFO (WHICHEVER FORM THAT TAKES), SO MAKE SURE YOU PROVIDE THE CORRECT ONE. Once payment has been verified and matched, orders will be shipped and include a tracking number.

FINALLY, I am a one-man operation. I do everything myself, and I oversee every single step to ensure that my own standards, and yours, are observed. I ask for one thing: PATIENCE. Time is needed to prepare every print, then package them properly, and finally, ship them. I thank you in advance for your comprehension, and cooperation. Art, unfortunately, takes time.

BORING STUFF (still worth reading though...)

This project is in no way affiliated with Max Verstappen, Red Bull Racing, or Formula One or the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile.

Final product may differ in colour from illustrations, considering the variations in screen calibration observed between computer monitors, televisions, and mobile devices. However, rest assured that all prints in the sequence (001 to 100) will observe the same coherence in terms of colour consistency and mostly, overall quality.
